Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is a charity committed to finding a cure for childhood cancer. TwilightMOMS is one of the many organizations that have helped raise money for this foundation. Two of my friends and I went to an event in Myrtle Beach last November to help raise money for this cause. There were many items donated for this one of six events that were going on during the same weekend, all by TwilightMOMS. The total amount raised from those six events was $20,000. Among the many items donated, my friends and I came home with a buttload of stuff. Included in the buttload of stuff was a 19” flat screen TV, 2 framed movie posters from Twilight, a necklace and a hat inspired by the Twilight movie, a Twilight picture drawn by another TwilightMOM, who was featured in a magazine, and the magazine, and a life-size cardboard cutout of the main character Edward. The last one is in my office at my house as we speak (or well, as you read). A similar event in New York had the pleasure of auctioning off dinner with two cast members from the movies. Lucky!!!
