Ok so not everyone reading this will know what I’m talking about. So, if you haven’t read the books, here’s a run down of what you missed. Also, if you want to read them, but haven’t yet, I suggest not reading past this point!
***WARNING: SPOILER ALERT***
Twilight is a story of a seventeen year old, human girl named Bella Swan who moves

from Phoenix, AZ to Forks, WA. Bella is enrolled at school in Forks, and is attracting attention from many of her peers except from the one she wants it from most, Edward Cullen. At first, Edward is completely disgusted with her and she can’t figure out why. Edward leaves town for a bit and finally returns. When he returns, he is much friendlier. At school one day, Bella is almost ran over by a van and Edward saves her. She is determined to figure out his secret. Bella eventually tricks family friend Jacob Black into telling her his tribal legends, where she discovers Edward is a vampire that drinks animal blood instead of human blood. Bella confronts Edward about her newfound knowledge, and he admits to her that he only tried to stay away from her because her blood calls to him. Over time, Edward and Bella fall in love. Another vampire, from another coven, James, wants to kill Bella and she has to make her escape. She travels back to Phoenix with some of Edwards’s family. James pretends to have Bella’s mother and lures her to him. He bites Bella’s hand just before Edward and the other Cullens show up. Edward sucks the venom out of Bella’s hand so she does not become a vampire, and Bella is brought to a hospital. Upon their return to Forks, Bella and Edward go to prom and Bella tells Edward of her hopes in becoming a vampire. Edward denies her of her request.
New Moon is the second book in the Twilight Saga. It’s Bella’s 18th birthday, and Ed

wards’s family throws her a party. As she unwraps a gift, she receives a paper cut and Edward’s brother, Jasper, tries to kill her. Edward feels like he is always putting Bella in danger, and decides to leave Bella. Bella is left depressed, and grieving. Over the time Edward is gone, Bella has deepened her relationship with her best friend, Jacob Black, who is also in love with her. She has also found that dangerous activities, such as riding motorcycles, lets her “hear” Edward. Bella eventually finds out that Jacob and his tribe can transform into werewolves. Jacob and his wolf pack protect Bella from other vampires who are trying to kill her. Bella is still trying to “hear” Edward and decides to go cliff diving. Misunderstandings of Bella’s attempted suicide get back to Edward and he goes to Italy in hopes of being killed by the Volturi, the vampire “royal family”. Bella ends up going to Italy with Alice, Edward’s sister, to stop him from being killed. Edward comes back to Forks with Bella and vows to never leave her again. Bella wants to be a vampire, and polls a vote with Edward’s family. The majority agrees, and she will be transformed after graduation by Edward’s father, Carlisle, because Edward does not want her changed. Edward finally agrees to change her himself if she will meet his condition. To marry him first.
Eclipse is the third book in the Twilight Saga. There is a lot of unsolved murders in Se

attle, and Edward believes it is due to a newborn vampire who can not control it’s thirst. Bella desperately wants to see her friend, Jacob, and Edward is worried about her safety with the problem of the unsolved murders so close to home. She finally convinces Edward that a wolf pack can protect her, and she begins to see Jacob again. Edward proposes to Bella and she accepts. Bella actually realizes that the murders are an army of newborns coming to kill her and lets the Cullen’s know what she thinks. They agree. The wolf pack and the Cullen’s join together to fight the newborn clan, while Edward, Bella, and Jacob camp out in the forest waiting for the fight to be over with. Edward and Bella begin talking of their engagement and this upsets Jacob. He storms off to get himself killed in the fight and Bella stops him by kissing him and realizes she is in love with him too. The leader of the newborn army tracks Edward’s scent to their campsite, and Edward is forced to kill her. Bella goes to see Jacob and tells him that even though she loves him, she loves Edward more. Jacob leaves town in his wolf form to try and escape his pain and heart ache after receiving a wedding invitation from Edward.
Breaking Dawn is the fourth book in the Twilight Saga. It is broken down into three part

s. The first part talks of Bella and Edwards wedding, and honeymoon. A few weeks into their honeymoon, Bella realizes that she is pregnant, and they immediately return to Forks to have the baby aborted, but Bella will not Edward do that to their baby. The second part is told from Jacob’s point of view. It goes through Bella’s pregnancy, and up to the point where the baby is born. Edward then transforms Bella into a vampire by injecting his venom directly into her heart. The third part is back to Bella’s point of view. She awakes as a newly changed vampire and controls herself remarkably well. A vampire from the Cullen’s’ past, Irina, mistakes Edward and Bella’s daughter for an “immortal child”, a human child turned vampire, and goes to the Volturi. The Volturi are coming to Forks to destroy the Cullen’s and the baby, so the Cullen’s enlist the help of many vampire covens across the world to witness the child. The Volturi realize they have been misinformed and kill Irina. The Volturi are still unsure of the baby and if she poses a threat to the vampire’s existence. Alice and Jasper return from leaving prior to the meeting with the Volturi, with a 150-year-old hybrid vampire/human, just like the baby. The Volturi realize they pose no threat and leave with no one else harmed.
